These very reliable ozone monitors are the ideal solution to accurately measure and monitor, in real time, the level of ozone in the air within any area. This may be necessary if the ozone generating equipment is used within any enclosed space without adequate ventilation, where people or animals may be present.
The sturdy rechargeable handheld portable ozone monitors, and fixed ozone monitors, are both available with or without data logging capability. Interchangeable ozone monitoring heads with different ozone ranges can be supplied for various applications, and the monitoring heads are also available for different types of gases.
These ozone monitors can be programmed to operate an optional solenoid to control a Black Max ozone system to achieve a desired ozone range, and potentially set off an alarm for any exceedances.
An ozone monitor can be used as a safety measure across a wide range of applications including indoor hydroponic farming and produce rincing, industrial hygiene, virus disinfection, and during the sterilization of commercial and residential buildings. NOTES: Always read and follow the Black Max operating instructions before using any Black Max ozone generator or Black Max ozone system, and follow OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety) guidelines relating to your specific application. When using a Black Max ozone system to purify a tank of water in accordance with these instructions, the ozone generated will break down into oxygen as it purifies the water. If the water tank is located in the open air or in an area with adequate ventilation, any residual ozone that may gas off through the water during this process would normally safely dissipate into the open air. Please refer to the Black Max operating instructions for further information regarding additional ventilation options if required. For reference, during a thunder and lightning storm the naturally occuring “clean fresh air smell” of ozone can often be observed in the air.
WARNINGS: Do not look directly at the UV (Ultra Violet) lamp that is located inside the outer casing of a Black Max ozone generator. There is a small window located in the outer side slide panel that glows blue to safely see when the internal ozone lamp is operating. Do not operate the ozone generator with this side slide panels removed, and never expose eyes or skin to the ultraviolet light emitted from the internal UV lamp that is housed behind this side slide panel. Ensure that no staff or animals are exposed to any very high levels of ozone that could possibly build up in the air while using a Black Max ozone system inside of a fully enclosed space without adequate ventilation.
